With bad news seemingly around every corner, Aaron Ramsey has delivered some good by declaring himself fit and ready for Liverpool next weekend.

With injuries starting to bite and Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud taking their holidays later than everyone else so not ready to feature, the news that Ramsey will be ready is a massive boost for Wenger and his side.

“It felt good to come in and play the last game before the start of the season,” Rambo told the official site.

“It’s good fitness for us and I felt good to get back out there again. I feel ready to go for Liverpool.”

Both Arsenal and Liverpool have a variety of problems to overcome before next weekend arrives with the Scousers finding their players being struck down with Arsenal DNA and dropping like flies.

Rob Holding will be hoping that his legs hold out until the weekend after watching the Arsenal plague cripple Per Mertesacker and Gabriel, clearing the way for him to make his competitive debut in the first game of the season.

Good thing the lad looks like it won’t faze him in the slightest.
