Dan Crowley got himself on the scoresheet for Oxford United but his superb goal was merely a consolation as the U’s lost 4-2 at home to Brighton.

The Arsenal youngster found the back of the net from outside the box but his 94th minute strike came far too late to allow any hope of a fightback from Oxford.

Crowley had started the game on the bench once again but had been introduced after 82 minutes when he replaced Wes Thomas. It is his first goal for his loan side, but unlikely to be his last.
