Arsenal kick off the new season against rivals Liverpool at the Emirates hoping to get off to a better start than last year.

Although we recovered quickly, losing 2-0 to West Ham on the opening day of the season last term wasn’t the best start and if we fail to take any points from our match against Liverpool, you have to feel that the backlash from the fans will be even worse this time around.

With key players still resting after the Euros, injuries to both sides and signings still to be made, it’ll be interesting how we fare.

Here’s how both sides line up:

Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Chambers, Holding, Monreal, Elneny, Coq, Theo, Rambo, Iwobi, Alexis.

SUBS: Ospina, Gibbs, Wilshere, Xhaka, Cazorla, Ox, Akpom.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Moreno, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho, Mane, Firmino.

SUBS: Manninger, Can, Origi, Matip, Alexander-Arnold, Stewart, Grujic.
