Shkodran Mustafi is one of the players Arsenal fans have pinned their hopes on this summer but apparently the Gunners are waiting for is for Valencia to find his replacement before submitted an offer.

The German centre-back hasn’t been on our radar that long but there appears to be genuine interest. We’ve been following the story pretty closely and it does seem to be developing slowly but surely.

The latest twist is that Chelsea are very interested in the defender. However, this rumour could have come from Mustafi’s camp, who will be trying to boost his wage packet and transfer fee.

Our old buddy (lol) Emanuele Giulianelli has been tweeting, claiming that Arsenal haven’t put in an offer yet but plan to once Valencia have found his replacement…

I guess that’s a very respectful way of going about it?

I reckon Alexandre Lacazette and Mustafi are the two signings we’ll make before the end of the window. No more than that but I’m pretty confident about these two.
