Alex Iwobi could be keeping Aaron Ramsey (and the rest) company in the treatment room for four weeks after his test results came back.

The youngster picked up the injury on Sunday against Liverpool and it had been hoped that he wouldn’t be ruled out for any length of time.

But the ever-reliable Ben Dinnery is now reporting that he could be out for up to a month:

While Iwobi’s loss will not be felt as keenly as Ramsey’s (or Per’s and Gabriel’s) it is more than a little annoying that his first season as a regular from the beginning of the campaign has already been interrupted by injury.

Refused permission to go to the Olympics with Nigeria (who play Serge Gnabry’s Germany in the semi-final tonight (Wed)) specifically so he would benefit from a full pre-season with the club, it seems as if that decision was pretty pointless now.
