Thierry Henry claimed that he’s worried for Arsenal as Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0 on Friday night.

The International Champions Cup clash took place at Wembley, with goals coming from Sadio Mané, Javier Mascherano (OG), Divock Origi and Marko Grujić. Liverpool were winning the ball back with ease and counter-attacking at lightning speed. It was typical Jurgen Klopp football.

Arsenal now have to face Liverpool on the opening day of the season and although both teams are without a few key players, Klopp’s system seems adaptable. Arsenal, on the other hand, tend to crumble under pressure.

Speaking as a pundit at half-time, Thierry Henry said, “I’d be a bit worried if I was Arsenal.”

Well he’s not part of Arsenal now, he took care of that. Sorry, is my bitterness still showing?

I’m not that worried, which is perhaps a tad foolish of me. Pre-season results mean very little – last season we beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Community Shield then lost twice against them when it really mattered.

I’m not saying that Liverpool don’t look like a threat – they do – but we shouldn’t pay too much notice attention to these results. Not yet at least.
