Serge Gnabry is set to be presented as a Werder Bremen player at 2:30pm UK time.

According to Kicker, the winger is set to sign for the German club on a permanent deal with an option for Bayern Munich to buy him.

After the initial drama of the Bundesliga giants supposedly wanting to buy him to then loan him to Werder straight away, it appears that Werder will just buy him from Arsenal outright.

Although, if the reports are true, it’s practically a loan move considering Bayern can reportedly buy him in a year’s time after stumping up the initial fee, giving it to Werder who are then giving it to Arsenal.

Dodgy, much?

Regardless of what happens down the line, Gnabry seems to almost be a Werder player and will apparently be unveiled at 3:30pm local time, which is 2:30pm UK time.

As we’ve said throughout, it’s a shame but with just one year left on his Arsenal contract, did we really have much choice?

The story is developing so we’ll keep you posted with all the latest updates.
