Can you believe that it’s been four years since Santi Cazorla signed for Arsenal and brought so much happiness into our lives?!

The Spaniard signed from Malaga in 2012 and I remember the buzz that surrounded him. The five-foot-six (yeah right, Wikipedia) midfielder was already know to most Gooners and we knew how much he could add to our squad. He’s the personification of the phrase: ‘good things come in small packages’.

Now, the 31-year-old is one of our stand-out players. Although he’s suffered through an unfair amount of injuries, he’s always returned and been the same player, even when his fitness falters. Finding the goal isn’t his strong point – something he freely admits – but his ability to dictate play and basically run the show from midfield, no matter the state of his fitness, is practically unrivaled.

Santi is probably one of the most two-footed players I’ve ever seen. He genuinely doesn’t have a stronger side, which is so, so hard to find in modern football.

Since joining Arsenal four years ago, he’s featured in 169 games, scored 27 goals and assisted 43. He’s a little magician and I hope he stays with us for many years to come.

Here are some videos to feast your eyes on.

Enjoy.
