Jack Wilshere has reportedly demanded a loan move after becoming Arsenal’s sixth choice midfielder.

The 24-year-old only made three Premier League appearances last season due to injury, which meant that although Roy Hodgson took him to France for the Euros, he was unable to get a full game under his belt.

Now that Arsenal have signed Granit Xhaka, Wilshere has fallen even further behind in the pecking order and it’s difficult to see where we’ll actually play him.

This is reportedly something that the England international has picked up on and he’s asked for a loan move in order to get some regular playing time.

Although a loan move for Wilshere may be on the cards since it makes total sense, it’s unlikely that he demanded one. He may be a bit ‘feisty’ at times but he respects the club and boss immensely. I don’t see him stomping into Wenger’s office and kicking off about his lack of playing time after such a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Of course, I could be wrong.

At the moment, Wilshere is being linked with a loan move to Juventus by Sky Sports, which fans from both sides aren’t too happy about. We’ll have more on that later as the story develops.
