The Arsenal u19s have won the Durban International Cup final for the second year running.

Arsenal beat South Africa u19s 3-1. Stephy Mavididi scored a brace while Ben Sheaf won Man of the Match.

The Young Guns only list one match the entire tournament against KZN Academy. Since then, they beat both Sporting Lisbon and Golden Arrows to reach the final where they beat South Africa.

Although it’s technically a friendly competition, getting our academy players into a winning state of mind can only be a positive thing. It also highlights some of our bright sparks that we could potentially see play in the senior squad one day.
