According to just about every news outlet there is, Arsenal are well into negotiations with Valencia over centre-back, Shkodran Mustafi.
As you’re most likely well-aware, the 24-year-old German international has been heavily linked with a move to north London, with the player even reportedly training away from the rest of the squad and Valencia opening talks with Manchester City over his replacement.
Although Chelsea and Milan have both also been linked, the reports that he’s on his way to Arsenal haven’t slowed down.
Now, various sources are claiming that the talks are ongoing and we’re willing to pay £30m. We’re pretty desperate, considering we currently have no fit senior centre-backs and signing Mustafi would be the first step in putting our fragile Gooner minds at rest before the start of the season.

We don’t have long now, we face Liverpool on Sunday.
Mustafi’s out there, liking pictures of Granit Xhaka on Instagram so he MUST be coming…
