Arsenal have confirmed that Tafari Moore will spend this season on loan with FC Utrecht, a club he first trained with towards the end of July.

The Dutch reports that we covered back then claimed that the player does not have a future at Arsenal, however at this point it is only a loan deal.

At the club since he was 12, the 19-year-old made a total of 15 appearances for the u21s last season.

Shorly before he travelled to the Netherlands, the defender was called up to the England u19 side to replace Everton’s Callum Connolly for the u19 Euro Finals.

Initial reports claimed that he had already made a great impression on the Utrecht manager, Erik ten Hag.

Something else that is, perhaps, worth mentioning is that Arsenal have been tweeting out just links with no text, leading some to believe that they are planning some big news.

Although you can see the article in the preview above, usually it just appears as a URL which is a rather odd way to deliver what is, let’s face it, news that probably needs a bit of hype rather than to be downplayed.

This is how desperate we are becoming for a new signing, we are now analysing Arsenal’s tweets looking for a clue.

*sigh*
