Robin van Persie has been linked back with a move to Arsenal after the Fenerbahce president admitted that the Turkish club are willing to listen to offers.

The striker hasn’t been bad for Fenerbahce since signing from Manchester United (booo) last season but they already seem over him and have announced that they’d be open to offers.

Naturally, after reports claimed that he wanted a move back to London, rumours began to circulate that he could return to Arsenal. Although he has also been linked with moves to Crystal Palace or West Ham, should we consider re-signing the 32-year-old?

He’d probably cost less than £4m, is still pretty efficient in front of goal and I’m sure would be happy to play second fiddle to Olivier Giroud if it meant moving back to the city he spent eight years of his life in.

On the other hand, would ‘forgiving’ him for joining our rivals be too much to take?
