Aaron Ramsey has revealed that he has no complaints about the yellow card he received during Wales’ 3-1 win against Belgium and that he knew straight away.

In the 74th minute, the Welshman gave away a foolish yellow card for a hand ball. It was his second in five matches and because of a strange Uefa rule that nobody really understands or agrees with, this means he misses the semi-final against Portugal.

Although the card wasn’t for anything malicious, the midfielder is still understandably gutted.

“It was a sort of natural reaction and I knew straight away it was a yellow,” Rambo said.

“I’m really gutted. I’m confident in the players we have to step in and get us to the final.”

This is the furthest Wales have ever been and for him to miss the historical match will be a huge blow to him as a person and his teammates. He’s been instrumental for his country during the Euros and it’s difficult to predict how they’ll do without him.

However, no matter the result, the Welsh boys have gone above and beyond what anyone predicted. They can definitely hold their heads high.
