Praise the Lord! Carl Jenkinson has returned to Arsenal training at London Colney!

The right-back has spent the last couple of seasons on loan at West Ham. However, he injured his knee ligament in the Hammers’ 2-2 draw against Manchester City in January (while giving away a penalty, I might add) and hasn’t played since.

The 24-year-old is a fan favourite, having been a Gooner his entire life, and I for one am thrilled that he’s returned to us. At the moment, there doesn’t appear to be talk of him being sold or going out on loan again, which does raise the question of whether someone else (Calum Chambers? Mathieu Debuchy?) is.

The defender posted a selfie of him on his way to training at London Colney and West Ham wished him luck, which was lovely to see.
