Spurs Ladies have announced a pre-season friendly against Arsenal Ladies on the third of August.

The game will kick-off at 7.30pm and will be played at Spurs Ladies’ home ground, Cheshunt FC. The first team players should not be involved as they have a League game on the previous Sunday and a Conti cup game two days later.

It should be a good test for a very young Arsenal Development with girls from 16 to 20 years old involved.

For the fans looking to attend, there is no segregation as far as I know from the games I have see there in the past.

Last summer, our reserves played a friendly at 10am on a Sunday morning and were on the receiving end of strong abuse.

As any Spurs away game, wearing colours is potentially risky especially if there’s no segregation and fans would be able to clash freely around the pitch.

It is a shame that some fans from both sides disengage their brain at any Arsenal v Spurs fixtures be it men, youth teams or Ladies football.
