After initially being linked with Torino’s Bruno Peres, we’ve reportedly entered talks with the club and could make a formal bid soon.

The right-back, who Manchester City are apparently after as well, featured in 31 Serie A games last season, scoring three goals and assisting seven, which isn’t half bad!

Considering Mathieu Debuchy looks to be off this summer, buying a back-up for Hector Bellerin is a sensible idea and the Brazilian seems like a good choice.

Reportedly, the defender is worth £17m, which, once again, isn’t too bad given today’s climate.

Are we interested? It’s entirely possible. The 26-year-old is a developed, capable player who appears to be a good stand-in, should we need him.

Check him out in action below.
