Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny suffered a huge disappointment at the hands of Portugal in the Euro final.
Despite losing Cristiano Ronaldo to a knee injury in the first half, Portugal went on to beat France 1-0 in extra time thanks to an Éder goal.
Not many predicted that France would lose, especially on home soil, and they understandably took it badly, with Oli and Kos refusing to wear their runners-up medals.
Naturally, it’s going to be a huge blow. Oli didn’t have the best match, which was unusual considering how brilliant he’s been for France during the entire tournament.
All they can do is rest, recover and return to action next season.
