The England Women’s u19 team played a double-header against their US counterparts and managed to win the first game one nil with a Georgia Allen goal and drew the second game 2-2.

Although the game was officially a u19 game, both sides used players born in ’98 and ’99 making it an u18 international game in fact.

All those players are likely to compete in the FIFA 2018 u20 World Cup to be played in Brittany, France, so it was a welcome preparation for the players from both countries.

The first game saw seven Arsenal players involved:  two starters, three coming on as subs and two unused subs. Arsenal’s Georgia Allen scored the winner on the 69th minute.
