Another day, another load of Euro action.

This time, it was the turn of England v Wales and we thought we might get to see Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere go head-to-head.

Alas, it was not to be as Roy Hodgson kept Jack on the bench and at this point the question must be asked – is he injured?

Why else would you have him and not use him when your alternatives are Dele Alli, Adam Lallana or Raheem Sterling?

After the fuss that was made over Roy bringing Jack in the first place, it wouldn’t surprise me if he was crocked and they just don’t want to tell anyone.

Ramsey put in a decent shift, looking more dangerous, focused and less scatty than he has done in a while, but alas, it was all for nothing as Jamie Vardy (whom the BBC did *not* reveal was an Arsenal player) and Daniel Sturridge sealed the win for the Three Lions.

Mesut Ozil could do nothing to inspire a dull German side who played out a 0-0 draw against Poland who were without Wojciech Szczesny though injury. Poland probably should have won if we just count clear chances, but in the end, no-one deserved to benefit from what we had to watch.

In gossip, Henrikh Mkhitayran, close enough that we felt we could safely get excited about him being linked with Arsenal and learned how to spell his name without having to copy & paste, will not be going anywhere.

When we first started covering this story, we spoke to a Dortmund blogger who said there was a chance that the club would force him to stay (we reported that at the time) but as the days moved on it seemed less likely they would. Now it seems they will.

Shows what any of us know, eh?

There were some other players linked, the usual suspects and no rumours to really get excited about.

We took a day off from the transfer nonsense to enjoy the home nations playing in the Euros yesterday (nice one, Norn Iron) but normal service will be resumed today.
