Laurent Koscielny has reportedly turned down a move to Manchester United.
These rumours emerged back in May and not many English outlets appeared to pick them up. However, since the centre-back is French and currently away with the France national team, it stands to reason that even if there was substance behind the claims, the French media would be the first to get hold of the news.
However, now the Metro is claiming that the 30-year-old has said no to the offer, preferring to stay in north London because… well… he’s awesome.
Whether the reports are true or not, they bring good news. Either United didn’t want him in the first place or they did and he turned them down. He is the future Arsenal captain, after all…
