Monday’s headlines were mostly full of the news that Jamie Vardy is probably becoming an Arsenal player but we’re still not 100% sure.

Firstly, it was reported by a local Leicester publication that the striker had asked for more time to make a decision but this was quickly shot down by The Ornacle who claimed that although we may not hear about it straight away, the decision should have still been made on Monday afternoon.

Since everyone got bored of waiting for Mr. Vardy to banter us right off, people got to work photoshopping pictures of the 29-year-old in an Arsenal kit. The results were both inspirational and terrifying.

Dean Jones from Bleacher Report claims that the reason the decision is taking so long is because Vardz is worried about rocking the HMS Ranieri and triggering an exodus of sorts. Dramatic, I like it.

Late on Monday night, news broke via the Mirror that Vardy is going to turn us down in favour of a new, improved contract and God status at Leicester.

Elsewhere, Ivan Gazidis talked about punching a steel bar when we drew against Liverpool; Laurent Koscielny spoke to the French media; Poldi had a baby – although I imagine it was his wife who delivered it; Robert Pires threw a ball in some sand with Andy Murray; Granit Xhaka was handsome and Wojciech Szczesny sat on a bench.
