Although Mario Götze has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich this summer, it’s unclear whether he actually will or not and, if he does, where he’ll go.

The German has been said to be unhappy with the Bundesliga club for a fair amount of time now. Apparently, the playmaker seemed disappointed with his lack of playing time after his injury but the club CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, appeared confused by how disillusioned Götze was.

He was told by German national team manager, Joachim Low, that he should leave and even reportedly given permission to go by the club itself.

Now, although the 24-year-old has been linked with Liverpool on and off for months because of him former Dortmund manager, Jurgen Klopp, being there, the rumour mill has began spinning faster.

Claims emerged from the German media that he was to be left out of Bayern’s Champions League squad next season, a rumour that the club has vehemently denied.

However, it does appear as though Götze is unhappy and that Liverpool are interested.

Now, enter Arsenal. According to The Sun, we’re ready to swoop in and grab the midfielder for ourselves. Arsene Wenger’s interest in Götze has never been a secret. Will we sign him? I don’t see it. But I do think he’ll be leaving Germany pretty soon.
