Liverpool have been trying to get their paws on Theo Walcott and it’s no secret that the forward was a fan of the Merseyside club as a kid. With that in mind, is it time for him to go?

The issue of whether Theo should stay or go has become a tricky one. If you’d asked me before Danny Welbeck got injured, I would have, without a shadow of a doubt, paid the train fare up to Liverpool myself.

However, with the striker’s injury in mind and us yet to sign an attacker just yet (Jamie Vardy might not happen, after all), he becomes, with all due respect, slightly less useless.

And as much as it’s been rumoured that he could be leaving, it’s also been said that the 27-year-old will be staying at the club.

Saying this, according to Football Insider, Liverpool are willing to offer £25m and a four-year contract. If this is so, this is a great deal and I think we should take it.
