Olivier Giroud trained for France ahead of their last friendly before the Euros.

The striker played against Cameroon on Monday and even scored a goal but suffered a knock to the knee. Fortunately, according to RMC Sport, he’s in training, jogging and stretching, and will therefore probably start against Scotland on Saturday.

The 29-year-old faced a lot of abuse on Monday, shockingly, at the hands (or mouths?) of his own fans. The France fans aren’t happy with his output and are angry that Karim Benzema, who was left out of the Euro 2016 squad due to his involvement in the recent blackmail case, isn’t there.

Despite this, Giroud seems to be putting on a brave face and doing everything he can, including scoring for his country.

Also back in training was Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial, who had been carrying a thigh strain. The 20-year-old is now recovered and back to a normal regime.
