Granit Xhaka hasn’t played a single minute for Arsenal but Gooners everywhere have already fallen in love with him for a number of reasons.

Be it giving the majority of his wages to his mum or impressing in the middle of the park for Switzerland, it’s clear that Arsenal have landed a classy player this summer.

Speaking to Arsenal player, Granit revealed that the highlight of his career so far was beating Manchester United when he was with FC Basel, he said “I think [the best moment of my career] was a game against Manchester United for Basel.

“We played in Manchester and drew 3-3, then we played at home and won 2-1 to knock them out and progress to the next round.

“It was big. Basel were a smaller club than Manchester United and to beat them 2-1 was a very nice moment.”

Xhaka has been named Man of the Match in both his Euro appearances so far in the tournament, an impressive record that he will be hoping to extend against France when the sides meet on Sunday.
