Hector Bellerin was, once again, an unused sub in Spain’s 2-0 loss against Italy in the Euros.

Although the right-back probably didn’t expect to become first choice just because he featured in a couple of friendlies, I’m sure he’ll be disappointed to not play for his country all all during the Euros.

Saying that, at the age of 21, he probably never imagined representing his country at this stage.

A goal in the first half from Juventus’ Giorgio Chiellini would have been all Italy needed but the goal from Graziano Pellè sealed the deal put the icing on the cake.

Italy dominated Spain in a way no one has done in recent years and it was refreshing and exciting to see. They thoroughly deserved the win and to progress to the quarter-finals.
