Arsenal are reportedly lining up a move for €20m Inter Milan defender, Jeison Murillo.

The centre-back, who only signed for the Italian club from Granada in 2015, has been vague when asked about his future in Serie A.

“Will I be at Inter next season? I don’t know, right now I am focused only on Colombia and the Copa America,” he said to reporters recently.

The 24-year-old made 35 appearances for his club last season, scoring two goals (one with his right foot, the other a header) and assisting one.

His season at Inter has clearly put him on the map as both Bayern Munich and Zenit are also after him, according to Sky Italia.

Interestingly, looking at reports linking Murillo to Bayern, it seems as if the Bundesliga team are lining him up as a replacement for Medhi Benatia – that’s right, the very same centre-back who was linked with Arsenal recently.

Gossip on us signing Benatia has cooled down somewhat, so presumably he staying in Germany and we can rule out Bayern. If our interest is genuine, who would the Colombian pick? Zenit or Arsenal? Decisions, decisions.
