Arsenal ladies drew 0-0 with Birmingham on Wednesday night leaving them in fourth place, one point behind the Blues and nine off top spot (although with a game in hand).

In what was a tough battle at Solihull Moors, Arsenal went close early on, forcing Birmingham’s keeper, Ann-Katrim Berger into a number of saves.

The best chance of the game came in the first three minutes of the second half when Berger denied Asisat Oshoala as she ran through on goal.

Berger was again called into action as she denied Fara Williams.

Pedro Losa had dropped Jemma Rose from the starting lineup, replacing her with Josephine Henning.
