Arsenal are said to be close to sealing two moves – both away from the club – with David Ospina on the verge of a Besiktas switch and Wojciech Szczesny returning to Roma.

Besiktas have been chasing Ospina for a while now and it seems as if they could be close to landing their man with reports emerging on Wednesday that a deal was close.

Turkish website, Fanatix, are reporting that an agreement, which would see Besiktas ay €3.5m (£2.7m) which is £300k less than Arsenal paid to sign him in the first place.

Wojciech Szcesny is another whose future looks close to be resolved.

Although it is being reported that Arsenal now have to decide on the Pole’s future, Wojciech has already stated that he knows where his future lies. The holdup is most likely due to Arsenal allegedly refusing to pay part of Szczesny’s wages for a second season in a row while he plays in Italy.

A meeting will reportedly take place next week to discuss the finer details.

What all this means, if it plays out as we expect it to, is that Arsenal will need to bring in another keeper.

As it stands, should Woj and Dave leave, Arsene Wenger will have just Petr Cech, Emi Martinez and Ryan Huddart at his disposal.
