Zlatan Ibrahimovic could well stay at Paris Saint-Germain, if reports are to be believed.

The forward is out of contract with the Ligue 1 club at the end of the season, with numerous media outlets linking him with a move to Arsenal, Manchester United and even Chelsea. However, apparently, the 34-year-old would like to stay in Paris and is waiting for the club to offer him a new contract.

Saying that, when asked about it recently, the Sweden international admitted that he just wants to play and win things, he doesn’t really mind where that is.

“I have had lots [of offers from England],” he claimed, while stroking a Persian cat and smoking money from a gold-plated pipe (probably).

“I have won a lot of trophies, but I still want to win a lot more. I want to do it wherever I can.”

Well that clears things up then.

The idea of Zlatan joining Arsenal is actually pretty amusing, not least because he’s allegedly demanding £600k a week (at least double what I earn!) but because his ego preceeds him. Our dressing room needs a lift as it is, I doubt Zlatan is the individual to do it.

That’s not to say he’s not an incredible footballer – he is – but I’m pretty sure we’d see Emmanuel Adebayor cartwheel across Ken Friar bridge, roll into the Emirates and paint an Arsenal kit onto his naked body before we see Zlatan Ibrahimovic become a Gunner.
