Following Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Norwich, Louis van Gaal admitted that he’ll be supporting Arsenal in our clash with Manchester City on Sunday.

The Red Devils now sit just one point behind City in fourth. If we can manage to take all three points off the Blues, this will give United a chance to capitalise on the dropped points and potentially get Champions League football next season.

Obviously, from an Arsenal perspective beating City isn’t about helping United get Champions League football. We’re currently three points ahead of them already and if we can get three more with only one game left, we’ll have third place wrapped up. If City, on the other hand, win, the battle will go down to the last day.

A victory will also mean we’re still in with a chance at second place and finishing about Spurs, which would be rather amusing considering how well they’ve played this season and how poor we’ve been.
