Yassin Fortune featured for France, while Marcus McGuane and Reiss Nelson appeared for England in the Euro u17 match, which ended 2-0 to the young lions, with the latter scoring one of the goals.
Goals from 16-year-old Ben Morris who plays for Ipswich and our very own Reiss Nelson brought the young lions up to third in Group C, in front of France (1) but behind Sweden (3) and Denmark (4).

Nelson’s goal was scored from the penalty spot after the French goalkeeper, Gaëtan Poussin, prevented a goalscoring opportunity and was shown a red card.
Nelson will be glad to get on the score sheet after many have pinned him as one to watch this tournament.
