With the transfer window about to swing open and Arsenal expected to be very busy, it’s no surprise we’re seeing them linked with a host of players.
With one already in the bag, here’s a round-up of other links that are active at the minute:

Arsenal have apparently made a £1.2m offer for Bolton’s young central defender, Rob Holding. A player they’ve been linked with for a while now, it’s not yet clear if this offer will be enough.
Italian reports, based on English stories, claim that Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested in Henrikh Mkhitaryan. They might be, but given that the rumour seemed to start in the Daily Express, we’re going to go ahead and ignore this one for now.
Spanish reports claim that Arsenal are also set to bid for Villarreal’s Mateo Musacchio. They also claim that Roma will bid for the services of the Argentine defender whose club have already stated they won’t be selling.
Meanwhile, back in Italy, they’re claiming that Arsenal are eyeing up Tottenham target Islam Slimani, the Sporting Lisbon striker. They got their info from the publication SIC Noticias in Portugal, but they provided absolutely no details beyond ‘Arsenal are interested.’
Hull’s Josh Tymon, a 17-year-old who doesn’t even get a position in the Daily Star’s report (he’s a defender) is also allegedly back on the radar of Arsenal. And Tottenham.
Despite finally buying a player to fill in at defensive midfield, Arsenal are reportedly after Javier Mascherano according to a number of reports. They probably aren’t.
Mesut Ozilhas reportedly postponed his Arsenal contract talks according to a number of media outlets. He hasn’t. Don’t listen to them. He’s happy and going nowhere. Don’t believe me? Then believe him.
David Ospina is still a target for Turkish Champions, Besiktas, who have allegedly invited him to Istanbul to discuss the move. Despite signing a keeper in January, the Turks aren’t happy with him and want Ospina for their Champions League foray next season.
