Portuguese website, Tuttomercatoweb, is reporting that the midfield maestro is willing to move away from north London for the right price and is keen on following his former boss at Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho, to Arsenal’s rivals.

This would be bizarre for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the German has willingly admitted that Arsene Wenger was one of the main reasons he came to Arsenal in the first place. His respect and admiration for the Frenchman is something he’s never wavered on. Why would he leave to work with someone else?

Secondly, he’s said on numerous occasions that he’s happy at Arsenal and plans on staying. There’s no way he’d move right now, especially not to a rival. A rival who, most likely, won’t even be in the Champions League next season.
