It’s the last match of the season, and that means it’s the last match for Tomas Rosicky as an Arsenal player.

This is being written before the match, so I don’t know for sure if it will be his last, or if his last was back in January against Burnely, but I hope he gets even a few minutes, so the whole Emirates can stand up and applaud this great player and man.

Tomas Rosicky is one of those “could have been” players. He had a great career in Dortmund before Arsenal signed him. He was 25-year-old with almost 150 appearances for this big German club, and he was a star in his own country as well.

At Arsenal, he collected the most appearances in his career, but oh, it should have been so many more. I won’t talk about all injuries he suffered, it makes me too sad. But, whenever he did play, he brought something exciting to our game, and many neutral football fans loved watching him play.

He gathered almost 250 appearances for Arsenal, scored 28 goals and provided 22 assists. He was a part of the team that won the FA Cup in 2014 and 2015.

He will be remembered amongst Gooners for the stunning goals he scored, especially against Tottenham.

The infographic below is a tribute to Rosicky, his memorable goal celebrations, and the fact that he’s one of rare Arsenal players with decent taste in music 😛

We will miss you, Tomas.

All the best.
