Eduardo Da Silva (Arsenal’s number nine) has admitted that if he was manager of the Gunners, he would sign Lionel Messi.

It’s a big shout, to be honest.

Obviously, the former forward was just having a bit of a laugh on Twitter. Although, to be fair, I doubt there are many people in football who wouldn’t sign the Barcelona goal machine if they could. There have even been (silly) rumours linking us with him but obviously, this would never actually happy… would it?

Dudu played for us from 2007-2010 and could have had a shining career if it’d hadn’t been for his shocking ankle injury against Birmingham in 2008. The less said about that the better.
