Arsenal and Spurs apparently both want Liverpool’s Jordon Ibe, who the Merseyside club are reportedly willing to sell in the summer.

The midfielder has struggled to get regular first team football this season and although he’s featured 25 times in the Premier League, the vast majority of these appearances haven’t been for very long. In fact, he’s found it almost impossible to get a full match under his belt.

According to Squawka, Liverpool are therefore happy to listen to offers but are far more likely to allow the 20-year-old to go out on loan to gain some experience due to the fact he only signed a new four-year contract worth £35,000 a week a year ago.

Whether Arsenal or Spurs are genuinely interested in taking the youngster on loan is doubtful. If he’s not good enough for Liverpool’s first team, why should he be good enough for us? It’d definitely be a strange move from either team. It’s far more likely that Liverpool have just put the word out that he’s available and, of course, we’re getting linked.
