Yaya Sanogo has been subbed off for Charlton after just 32 minutes when the Arsenal man picked up an injury.

Starting his second game since returning from suspension, the Frenchman seemed to go down unchallenged, received some treatment and was then replaced.

Sanogo’s season has not really been anything to get excited about.

A total disaster at Ajax, his loan was cancelled and he returned to England. He was then promptly shipped out on loan again to the Championship side and his first-ever professional hattrick instilled him as a bit of a crowd favourite.

Since that game, however, he’s done little beyond get himself a needless red card in the dying seconds against MK Dons.

There are no details as yet on his injury.
