Slaven Bilic admitted after West Ham’s 3-3 draw with Arsenal that he’s not happy with just the one point but he’s proud of every other aspect of the game.

The Hammers’ boss gambled by starting Andy Carroll against the Gunners – a move that obviously paid off as the ex-Newcastle man scored a hat-trick.

Speaking after the match, Bilic hailed his team after the quality they showed.

“I’m not happy with a point to be fair,” he said, “but I’m happy with everything else because they were once again amazing.”

Although West Ham were good, as they have been all season, we were, again, poor. We played well to start with but after going 2-0 up, we completely sat back, seemingly forgetting that we had another half to play. Our lack of urgency meant that not only did we relinquish our lead, we went behind and had to fight back for the point.

It wasn’t good enough but what else is new? It’s been the story of our season. The title is now completely out of the question.
