Arsene Wenger has confirmed that all our injured players, including Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky, are all progressing well in training.

Our team has been heavily set back by our usual implosion and, at one stage, our injury list appeared to be ever-growing. However, players are now gradually beginning to return to training.

While Wilshere isn’t quite ready to appear for the under-21s, as was rumoured, he is back in full training, along with Tomas Rosicky, who picked up a thigh injury against Burnley in the FA Cup.

“Not yet, no, we have not decided that yet,” the boss said on the prospect of Jack playing for the young team.

“It is his first week back in full training and we’ll see how he responds to that, but the first signs are quite good. We’ll assess our options next week.”

Cech is almost ready and although he might not make his return against Watford, he’s not far off and Aaron Ramsey should be available for next weekend, as will Flamini.

Meanwhile, Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are still a few weeks away but are “progressing well”.

It’s encouraging that all our key players should return before the season is over. Hopefully, this means we can finish strongly.
