Chuba Akpom provided his first assist in the Championship against Leeds on Saturday in a match which ended 2-2.

Chris Wood put Leeds 1-0 up with their first shot of the game but just before half-time, a move that was actually started by Chuba Akpom (got to love the pre-assist) resulted in an equalising goal from Hernandez.

Shortly after, a clever pass backwards from Akpom to Huddlestone allowed the former Spurs man to slot the ball low along the ground and into the goal, putting the Tigers 2-1 up and giving Akpom his assist.

Although Leeds went on to equalise, Akpom had another stand out performance and is clearing having a great time while on loan.

The assist marks the Arsenal loanee’s first in the Championship this season and second of his spell at Hull.
