Arturo Vidal commented on the potential transfer of Alexis Sanchez to Bayern Munich after his team’s 3-0 win over Schalke in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The midfielder, who was linked with a move to Arsenal himself before joining the German giants, admitted that it would be ‘nice’ to play alongside the Chilean once again after playing with him earlier in their careers.

“We’ve played together since the Under-20 international team, so it would be nice to play with him,” he said.

Vidal didn’t mention anything about the link itself being genuine. He simply answered a question on how he would feel if the forward joined Bayern, which, of course, he’s going to be positive about – who wouldn’t?

Rumours that Alexis could be heading to Germany seem a little wishy-washy and with Arsenal attempting to get him to sign a new contract, it’s likely that these reports are going to start doing the rounds to bump up his wages. Not that I’m sceptical or anything. I’m sure plenty of top European clubs would love to get their hands on him.

Well, hands off. He’s ours!
