Heading to north London with the hope of securing Premier League football for next season, Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace side have had a couple of injury scares.

Despite drawing with Everton in midweek, the Eagles picked up some knocks. It looks like winger Wilfried Zaha is carrying a knock but could just about be able to face the Gunners on Sunday.

Former Arsenal youth player Dwight Gayle was substituted halfway through Palace’s midweek draw and is definitely out, meaning we could be up against another former Arsenal man up front in the form of pantomime villain Emmanuel Adebayor.

Midfielder James McArthur is ruled out, meaning Mile Jedinak is set to play in midfield.

Palace’s form since Christmas has been dreadful and, though the downturn in form came about when the Scot was still in midfield, he has been missed by the Eagles.

Defender Brede Hangeland also appeared semi-regularly early in the season for Alan Pardew’s side but hasn’t played yet in 2016 and remains out of action.

With an almost full complement of players to choose from, Arsène Wenger already seems to have the early upper hand before Sunday’s fixture.
