Arsene Wenger once again confirmed on Friday morning that everyone returned from the international break in “good shape” and Petr Cech could face Watford.

The international break strikes fear into the heart of most Arsenal fans. In previous seasons, our players disappearing to represent their country and returning with a broken leg wasn’t unusual. However, fortunately this isn’t the case this time.

After picking up an injury against Swansea, Petr Cech returns to full training and could face Watford on Saturday.

Meanwhile, as has been previously said, Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky are both back in full training. Wenger is convinced that Jack is only weeks away from returning to the pitch. Similarly, Santi Cazorla is also a few weeks away but, as the boss said, there’s a difference between being fit and being competitive. Wenger clearly wants to be cautious with his players, particularly Jack who’s been out for the entire season after sustaining an injury after the Emirates Cup.

The Ox is also still several weeks away.
