No news is good news: that’s certainly the case as far as injuries are concerned and Arsène Wenger will be breathing a sigh of relief this week.

A whole week of training and no setbacks mean the manager will have a full squad available against Norwich City and some big decisions to make.

Midfielders Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain haven’t played since November and February respectively but are both being considered.

Cazorla completed the reverse fixture despite injuring his ligaments and it’s been a long way back thanks to an Achilles issue. Now, after two weeks of full training, he is ready.

Arsène Wenger confirmed to the press that both players could feature on Saturday but Cazorla is the more likely to make the squad.

The Spaniard could also make an appearance for Arsenal u21s in the week to boost his fitness ahead of the summer.

The u21s face a crucial play-off for promotion and it would certainly be a boost for them to have the likes of Cazorla or Oxlade-Chamberlain in the side.
