Emmanuel Adebayor has an annoyingly decent record against Arsenal.

The former Arsenal and Spurs striker has actually been part of four goals in this last four appearances against his old team. How irritating.

Ade came on against us late on Sunday for his new team, Crystal Palace, and assisted the Eagles’ equaliser minutes before full time. The goal meant we dropped yet more points and it’ll now be a decent result if we even finish in the top four. This is after we sat clear at the top of the Premier League table just a few months ago.

The 32-year-old has only scored once for Palace in 10 appearances since joining but, at Arsenal, scored 62 and assisted 22 in 142 appearances. He was a decent striker back in the day and obviously still has enough quality that he can dictate play and help his team. Shame about the terrible personality and money-grabbing ways, eh?
