It’s a miracle: with the return of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arsenal now have every single member of the first team squad available and in training.

Some though the day would never come, others will refuse to believe me now that it’s here. Arsenal have a fully fit squad.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been out since February, when he injured his knee in the 2-0 home defeat to Barcelona. Well, now he’s back.

It makes quite a change from earlier in the campaign. Arsenal have struggled (or, rather, limped) through much of the season. Danny Welbeck didn’t feature until February, Alexis Sánchez and Francis Coquelin missed two months each, Santi Cazorla hasn’t played since November and Jack Wilshere is yet to appear for the first team.

Now, though, everything has changed. Cazorla and Wilshere are both in full training and Wilshere, along with Tomas Rosicky, has even been playing for the u21s to prove his fitness.

Ox won’t be considered for selection for at least a week but to have everyone in training is a huge boost on its own. Welcome back, Alex!
