It’s never too long before Samir Nasri can help himself from talking about Arsenal and here’s what he had to say this time.

Speaking about his current team, Manchester City’s, upcoming match against Paris Saint-Germain, the midfielder revealed that it doesn’t actually think the Ligue 1 club are all that. In fact, he doesn’t think they’ll fare too well against an English club. The former Gunner then went on to list the clubs he thinks they’d struggle against and named Arsenal.

No [they wouldn’t dominate in England],” he said.

“It’s true they have a big team, but I do not think they are above the others (in England). There are no easy games in England, not one. I’d like to see Paris play a Monday night at Stoke, West Ham or at the Emirates against Arsenal… Today, the Big Four is no more. There are six or seven teams who can be champions. It’s harder.  champion is here, yes, but this is Paris, not Barça.”

Although he’s complimenting us, I still find it a bit odd that he’s always willingly bringing up his former team when he’s left years ago. Whether it’s Arsenal in general or Arsene Wenger, he loves to have a chat about us in the press.

Perhaps he should be paying more attention to his own club (and potentially his hairstyle), who have been even more disappointing than us this season as they hover precariously just inside the top four.
