Alex Iwobi has been named in the African Team of the Week after the youngster registered his second Premier League goal last weekend.

Coming into the side and displacing Theo Walcott, Iwobi has been the talk of Arsenal land since he became a regular.

Praise has come from all quarters as we watch an Academy product who really does seem to be the real deal.

With Arsenal players dominating the London Team of the Week, young Alex has been selected by Complete Sports Nigeria as one of the best performing Africans.

He wasn’t the only one.

Mohamed Elneny, voted Arsenal’s Player of the Month for March, was also included in the squad after yet another stellar performance from the new boy.
